Personal Training at the Kroc

The Kroc Center’s nationally-certified personal trainers are passionate about health and fitness. Whether you’re just starting out, taking your workout to the next level or training for your next athletic event our trainers can: Develop fitness routines to meet your needs, Help maximize the efficiency of your work out, provide basic nutrition and weight loss tips,
identify problem areas and help you overcome mental obstacles, track your progress and keep you encouraged.

Individual Training

A 60 minute one on one session with a certified personal trainer includes body fat testing with a specialized program designed to meet your needs and personal goals.
Single session: Members - $30; Non Members - $45.
5 sessions: Members - $27/session $135/total; Non Members - $42/session $210/total
10 sessions: Members - $25/session $250/total; Non Members - $40/session $400/total

Train with a Friend

Bring a friend and get personalized guidance complete with tips and techniques in a 60-minute training session.
Single session: Members - $40; Non Members - $60
5 Sessions save 13%: Members $174/total; Non Members $261/total
10 Sessions save 17%: Members $332/total; Non Members $498/total

 

Dance at the Kroc

Ballet
Mondays; Beginners 5:30 PM;  Intermediate 6:30 PM, Ages 7 & up (10 student max)
Ballet is the foundation for all dance training. Students will be instructed in barre work, center floor work, and traveling steps in order to develop the essential technique of balance, body control, and muscle memory. Ballet also promotes flexibility and muscular strength while emphasizing correct body placement.

Hip-Hop
Wednesdays 5:30 PM; ages 8 & up (12 students max)
Through the fundamentals of hip-hop movement, the student will enjoy an upbeat and high-energy class. The class will consist of a cardio warm-up, isolations & rhythms, stretching & strengthening exercises, as well as hip-hop combinations. Our hip-hop classes use family-friendly music and modest dance moves to allow our students to experience this popular dance style in a God-glorifying environment.  Hip-Hop is designed to be an open-level class - meaning we can accommodate a variety of technique levels in the same class.

 

Kroc Teen Cardio (treadmills, elliptical, bikes)

Ages 12-15
To schedule your sessions with a trainer, please visit the Fitness desk. All sessions must be scheduled June 1 through August 31. This class is designed to introduce teens to different ways of adding cardiovascular exercise to their daily lives. Teens will receive instruction on different types of class exercise options, rules for proper use and care of equipment in the fitness studio. Teens 12-15, who attend all classes and successfully complete the program may receive special permission to attend Fitness Studio classes with a parent present only.

*Must attend all 8 classes consecutively to complete the class.
*A 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for a session.
 

Kroc Teen I.E. (Intro to Exercise)

Ages 12-15
To schedule your sessions with a trainer, please visit the Fitness desk. All sessions must be scheduled June 1 through August 31. This class is designed to introduce teens to strength training and use of the cardio machines in the fitness center. Teens will receive instruction on proper use of the equipment, learn about basic human movement and go into detail on exercise form. After completion of the class, teens (age 12-15) that attend all classes and successfully complete the program may receive special permission to use the Fitness Center with a parent present only.

*Must attend all 8 classes consecutively to complete the class.
*A 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for a session.
 

Kroc Teen Strength 2

Ages 12-15
To schedule your sessions with a trainer, please visit the Fitness desk. All sessions must be scheduled June 1 through August 31. This class is designed to further educate teens on strength training. Teens will receive instruction on more machines in fitness center, including an introduction to free weight form and safety. Participants need to have taken Kroc Teen I.E. and must be 12 or older.

*Must also be present with a parent.
*A 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for a session.

 

 

Prime Time Seniors at the Kroc


Quarterly Fitness Memberships:
Winter (December-February)
Spring (March-May)
Summer (June-August)
Fall (September-November)
Cost: $10; or $40.00 yearly


By becoming a Prime Time Senior you get all access to the Kroc’s Prime Time Programs. This includes weekly gatherings on Tuesdays from 11 AM - 1 PM where you have different themes to enjoy. At noon, have lunch and then afterwards enjoy a movie. Also included is Prime Time Yoga on Tuesday mornings and other Prime Time aerobic classes. You will also have access to the Prime Time Walk the Kroc Walking Club, where you can enjoy incentives for walking designated distances of 100, 500, and 1000 miles. Finally, you will have access to become a Senior Olympian. Come to the Kroc gym and practice specific Senior Olympic Games so when the next Senior Games in Ohio occur, you will be ready to take home the gold!

Prime Time Healthy Seniors Program

Runs all year long.
The “Healthy Seniors” program is designed with senior citizens, Ages 60+, in mind who wish to participate in programs offered by the Fitness Center and Dance Studio. At the beginning of each quarter, commit to being active for 30-minutes a day for at least 3 days each week. After completing one quarter, you will officially be a part of the “Healthy Seniors” club. Each additional quarter that you meet your goal, you will receive incentives and rewards.

 

Prime Time Walk the Kroc Club

Offered all year long
The goal of the Healthy Seniors Program is to promote physical fitness to senior citizens age 60 and above. Seniors will commit to being active for 30 minutes a day three days a week for 90 days. After completing one quarter, the seniors will officially be a part of the healthy club. Each additional quarter seniors meet their goal they will receive incentives and rewards.

 

Yoga for Prime Time

Offered all year long
The very basics, no sun salutations or human pretzel poses! You can practice seated poses in a chair or on a thick padded mat. We do a lot of breathing exercises, go through a full range of motion, practice both visualization and meditation.
